Our West Region is currently looking for a strong Consulting Sales Representative with proven experience in developing new business opportunities within the Information Technology services sector (ERP). Reporting to the Consulting Sales Director, you will manage all aspects of the client relationships and expand into new clients with a focus on selling consulting services. The ideal candidate will independently develop ERP (incl. PeopleSoft, JDE, Oracle EBS) consulting opportunities within the Southern California market. You will prepare, respond and manage Oracle client proposals and develop and deliver client presentations for end-to-end business solutions. In addition, you will lead the account planning and strategic development for targeted accounts while fostering relationships with clients.
Desired Skills & Experience To succeed in this role, you must have an excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. You must bring at least 5 years experience in consulting sales roles - preferably with PeopleSoft, JDE, or Oracle EBS software solutions. Proven experience in analyzing customer/client requirements and aligning corporations business requirements relating to all areas of IT services will be essential for this role.
Keys to succeed: Demonstrated strategic account development experience Proven experience in solution selling Consultative selling style Entrepreneurial approach - you must have a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation with a determination to close the deal.
Superior communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal) are required. Strong presentation and listening skills are key for this role. You must also be able to work with other sales representatives while managing and coordinating all activities. Strong preference will be given to candidates already living in the greater Los Angeles or San Diego areas as the role will focus on ERP (PeopleSoft, JDE, Oracle EBS) engagements in the Southern California.
