Sales Account Executive - Mail Innovations
UPS Mail Innovations is currently seeking a District Account Executive to impact the organization by managing the relationship and sales process of District Accounts, including the conversion, penetration, and retention of accounts within a geographic area. A primary duty of this position is to identify, position, and expand opportunities for Domestic and International expedited mail, logistics and small package prospects within accounts.
UPS Mail Innovations focuses on the exciting B2C and eCommerce vertical and is experiencing tremendous growth due to the unmatched portfolio of services that only UPS can deliver to the market.
The District Account Executive may be responsible for the following:
Development of complex sales strategies and proactively searching for new opportunities within designated geography through the effective use of target marketing, networking and cold calling.
Development of multi-level customer relationships to uncover expedited mail needs of key decision-makers (i.e., ""C"" level executives, and Logistics, Operations, Transportation and General Managers) along with the ability to anticipate the needs of the prospect and develop solutions and client specific proposals.
Integration of customized technology solutions to retain and further penetrate client expedited mail needs, coordinate and have a good understanding of cross functional support with UPS Operations, Finance, Solutions and others to further penetrate opportunities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication with the ability to influence both internal and external customers.
Delivering, communicating and selling value in order to retain accounts while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction which includes responding to customer concerns, proactively developing solutions, providing follow-up on industry trends, coordinating contract implementations, and managing customer contractual commitments to ensure compliance.
Other duties include understanding competitor strategies, products and pricing patterns in order to position UPS Mail Innovations products advantageously, developing comprehensive pricing strategies for bundled contracts, and effectively negotiate pricing structures.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree is preferred
Demonstrated success in an outside sales role using consultative selling solutions; experience selling supply chain management, global shipping and trade and logistics solutions is a plus.
Demonstrated prior success in a sales role (meeting a quota), procurement, or supply chain operations, is important.
General knowledge of supply chain is preferred.
Must be able to work under minimal supervision, extremely self motivated.
Knowledge of working with Sales Automation tools and experience with Seibl System a plus.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
