The Interactive Marketing Manager must function as a project manager and product manager, as well as a senior-level Marketing Manager. We are looking for someone to develop and execute interactive creative strategies to further overall marketing initiatives including promotions, social media, online advertising, e-blasts and more. Manages external/internal corporate Web site content, directs all site maintenance and ensures the site meets the business needs of the organization. Responsible for interactive marketing, as well as the development, implementation and maintenance of the organization’s websites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:
WEBSITE STRATEGY and PROJECT MANAGEMENT
* Manage CO-OP’s three primary websites (, and ), working with senior marketing team on content and strategy. * Manage interactive agencies, including project priorities, project hours and estimate/invoicing. * Create solid website positioning strategy to retain customers and attract new ones. Establish and execute strategies to build brand, introduce product, generate leads and capture user data. * Continuously evolve sites as a “destination” for users to learn, interact, and communicate with our organization. * Develop a good understanding of our prospects and clients, their profiles and why they buy from us. Carry out in online web/media strategy. * Use interactive multimedia to build awareness of CO-OP. Find ways for audiences to interact with our brand online. Enrich clients’ online experience and convert to buyers. * Proactively own content for public websites. * Develop recommendation for integrating Intranet and Extranet into overall marketing strategies. * Make functional and design recommendations for site – work with outside agencies for programming, content development and design. * Evaluate on an ongoing basis to assure the website is a true microcosm of our brand and overall business. * Insure that all designs are user-centric for a clear and logical self-service experience for prospects and clients.. * Liaise with IT department, other internal facing departments, and outside agencies to develop and execute internal or external projects. * Evaluate website functions and recommend changes that optimize client access, site reliability and marketing flexibility while maintaining appropriate security/PCI standards * Oversee implementation of Marketo tracking into corporate sites. CONSUMER WEBSITE/ATM LOCATOR PRODUCT MANAGEMENT * Manage ATM Locator and Shared Branch Locator functions on . * Develop strategy for integrating FSCC and CSCU Shared Branching function with ATM Locator function. * Evaluate different Locator options for usage, opportunities for consolidation of functions, and source vendors. * Review ATM data update process and recommend and implement changes, including schedule and standards of vendor data feeds, vendor/partner contracts, internal processes including CU process to submit updates, IT process, Extranet access to data. * Manage monthly data update process. * Oversee client support for ATM Locator, include remote data feeds, etc. * Evaluate revenue opportunities from custom programming for CUs. * Develop business recovery plan to mitigate Locator downtime risk. * Work with B2C marketing manager to develop consumer website content and increase member engagement opportunities. * Recommend programs to leverage Locator functions to build CO-OP brand and Credit Union visibility nationwide. * Work with B2C marketing manager to communicate significant network enhancements, e.g. Dunkin Donuts ATM locations, etc. * Communicate regularly with Sales and BD on the value of the consumer site for their clients, as part of Of You, For You benefits from CO-OP.
MARKETING * Act as brand guardian within the interactive space, insuring all agencies and internal resources are within guidelines, coordinated and properly representing CO-OP to the marketplace. * Use Internet-based technologies like forms, blogs, Wikis, email marketing and multimedia to redefine the relationship between CO-OP and its targets. * Manage integrated online marketing programs to generate leads using email, banner ads, search marketing, landing pages or microsites and other innovative web tools that best accomplish lead generation goals. * Create targeted, niche interactive content within the structure of corporate site, minimizing the use of microsites. * Utilize search including SEO and SEM to develop awareness and generate qualified leads. Lead search strategy, budget management and search analytics. * Lead direct email marketing, making strategic recommendations to maximize impact and conversions. Track, analyze and make changes based upon metrics. · Establish and maintain an effective online social media strategy. · Stay current with social media trends and recommend and incorporate into strategy as appropriate to improve customer/media experience, as well as marketing efficiently. · Grow CO-OP’s use of social media as a communications channel with consumers, B2B audiences and press. · Manage CO-OP’s content on social media sites, keeping content current and accessible. · Develop viral online marketing campaigns. o Manages writing, edits and proofreading of new content. o Manage development of technical user guides & training materials. ANALYTICS * Use web analytics to fine-tune and improve site’s performance. Analyze and interpret site traffic and usability to improve visitor experience, convert visitors into clients, maximize ROI of offline and online marketing programs * Provide dashboards, metrics, and ROI for CO-OP’s participation in social media. * Perform usability testing to identify problem Web site areas and recommend resolutions. * Use A/B and multi-variant testing for campaign performance and optimization. OTHER * Lead and direct the work of others. * Must react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned. * Regular attendance and punctuality as a full time employee in order to daily exercise all of the essential functions. We are looking for someone who has aBachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Web Design, Marketing, Computer Science or related field preferred; and 7 years experience developing interactive marketing strategies.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Thorough understanding of marketing communications and creative services. Strong working knowledge of databases, list management and lead qualification and nurturing. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills necessary to closely monitor website marketing issues and find solutions. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with technical staff to efficiently solve problems. Supervisory skills necessary to train, aid, direct and motivate project teammates. Presentation and creative skills required. Social media experience and HTML programming is a plus. Experience working with interactive marketing agencies or web design companies required. Familiarity withsearchengine marketing, search engine optimization and Web technology. Track record in integrated social media marketing including blogs, blog relations, podcasting or other means of evangelizing on behalf of a large enterprise. Strong project management skills. Ability to think strategically and develop ideas based on offline marketing teams’ work. Strong creative aesthetic and understanding of good and bad design. Leadership and coaching skills. Understanding of marketing strategy, web-based technologies and emerging media. Ability to work in team environment. Proactive, self-starter, good work ethic. Strong communication and reporting skills.
