Mgr Material Distribution 2
Mgr Material Distribution plans, schedules, coordinates and supervises subordinate employees in the performance of property management, customer service, requesting, tracking, and expediting, receiving, turn-in, and storage activities. Assigns work to subordinates and provides quality inspections. Ensures compliance with requirements and standards of PWS C.1, C.3, C.4, CDRLS, and as applicable in C.5.1 through C.5.14. for the Northrop Grumman contract. Ensures that equipment, materials, and supplies are available to perform the work. Uses STAMIS as applicable during the performance of work. Participates in the preparation of COPs, DOPs and in annual updates. Ensures that all personnel assigned to the shop are trained, understands and complies with the contents of applicable COPs and DOPs. Trains, mentors, and enhances the performance of subordinate workers and other personnel.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Basic Qualifications: - Associate's degree from an accredited college or university, may be waived upon demonstrated skill and knowledge.
- Five (5) years progressive supervisory experience in a government supply organization.
- Working experience with the Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS) and the Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE).
- Must be familiar with Office Automation systems/equipment and may be required to be trained in the operation of STAMIS and ALIMS programs.
- Must possess a valid Driver's license in accordance with contractual requirements and be able to obtain a military operator's permit for each type of vehicle or equipment required to operate.
- Must possess a DOD Secret clearance or ability to acquire it.
