Our Mobile Modular Division is in Mira Loma, CA is currently looking for a Project Manager. This role works with Sales, Operations & the Inventory Center to effectively manage projects (that are specifically assigned) within the scope of the contract or agreement. This role provides on-site coordination for the customer and Mobile Modular with vendors to ensure the success of the project.

Experience/Education Required/Desired:

helor?s Degree and/or 5-8 years construction related experience.
wledge of the California Building Code (CBC) and Uniform Building Code (UBC).
wledge of approval agencies and process for Division of State Architect (DSA) and Department of Housing & Community Development (HCD) preferred.
wledge of modular building products preferred.


Special Considerations:

Local travel to jobsites will be required. A clean, valid driver?s license will be required.



Duties

end bid walks, when appropriate, with sales representative. Capture information pertinent for bidding process.
d & understand bid documents & specifications. Be able to articulate important items & make recommendations for exclusions and inclusions. Protect & maximize profitability. Prepare bid response.
conjunction with the inventory center (IC), be able to estimate a project based on bid specs. Works with purchasing agent on custom items.
ghing cost, timeline and company goals, have ability to select most optimal equipment for the project.
municate on a technical & professional level while interfacing with contractors, architects, and customer.
ve projects to successful and timely completion
till confidence in clients and internal partners
age the design approval process with all parties ? the IC, the State and other approving officials, the customer.
ate and maintain a project schedule using tools like MS Project and MS Excel.
k with appropriate parties to establish timelines for production, delivery, installation, and punch lists.
k directly with coordinators to schedule vendors.
end site meetings when necessary.
the expert in construction and related codes and processes, both internally and externally.
