Job Description
Coordinate the production of finished goods for a complex product line while balancing plant efficiencies, sales demand, product distribution, customer service, production schedules, plant metrics and inventory requirements.
lectively develop complex schedules for intermediate and finished good drug product lines using system tools and coordinate/communicate agreed upon plan between internal customers .
2. Analyze plant capacity for one or multiple product lines and manufacturing plants while managing product conversions and new product introductions independently.
3. Partner with Global Supply Chain and Marketing to develop, monitor, and change forecasts.
4. Determine finished goods inventory levels using FGRP analysis.
5. Establish service and inventory targets to meet business objectives.
6. Assist in the management of global distribution while taking ownership of the local supply chain product line.
7. Primary liaison between marketing, finance, business forecast, engineering, manufacturing, technical services, customer service, BEC, etc. Work on projects assigned by senior management.
9. Reconcile and maintain code level inventory to meet business needs.
10. Maintain product code data and statistics in various systems (JDE, OPPI).
11. Develop and communicate long term operating plans to reflect overall plant/product line sales, production and inventory.
12. Identify, measure and analyze potential opportunities within Supply Chain.
13. Identify, track, and resolve excess slow move and obsolete inventory issues.
Job Requirements
Microsoft Computer skills and JD Edward systems knowledge is required. Ability to think systematically with strong problem solving abilities. Persuasion and negotiation skills is a must. Leadership qualities must be displayed to fulfill this position.
Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, etc), PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Visio proficiency required
BS in Management, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, or BioScience; 5 - 7 years related experience. APICS certification preferred.
